Silk'n Flash and Go Review

It's here! It's here!! hehe. 2014 had been so easy and fast -- next thing you know, it's already 13th of December 2014. I know I'm 12 days early to be discussing about this baby, but I just really am one of those people who has low self control when it comes to controlling their excitement and emotions. tiheee.

Since my Christmas presents for family, friends, and "inaanaks" have been pretty much finalized, I guess it's time for me to give myself a reward this Christmas :) I've been wanting to buy a portable-hair-laser-device since 2012, and been doing my thorough research since then. I don't usually trust ads when it comes to purchasing products/devices, I need to see reviews and proofs from experts to make sure that my money is gonna be well spent.

I saw this device when I had a layover in Singapore last 2012 in Clariancy, when I bought my PMD device, but I found it too pricey, that made me hesitant on buying it (plus my money was not enough. #BrokeGirlDillemas) 2 years has passed, and I was in YouTube watching some episodes of The Doctors, and saw how amazing this product is :D

I have a very thin and fine hair, So I really am not considered to be hairy at all. I never had the need to shave/wax my legs/arms all throughout my life But your homegirl, NEEDS SOME HAIR CONTROL ON HER ARMPIT AREA, don't we all do? haha. and a few stray hair, near my mustache area. I usually get to spend 3,000php for my monthly sessions on hair laser removal, so I do think that buying this device is gonna be a win-win situation for me.

The device is around 588 Sgd or 19, 972 Php

                                         While Unboxing ....

A notice from the box indicating that this ain't applicable to people with darker complexions ... (way to be f******racist)

Here's a before and after shot upon testing my device:

                     Before...

                    After...

Pros:  *User friendly, very easy to use
*Really does remove hair follicles        effortlessly
*Hair laser devices usually tend to have a stingy feeling,
that  clinics would require for an Emla Cream (Anesthesia) for                every treatment, as patients with low pain tolerance wouldn't              usually bear, BUT THANK GOODNESS, FOR SOME REASON, THIS             DEVICE DOESN'T EVEN STING OR HURT A BIT, IT'S JUST LIKE                   HAVING YOUR PICTURE TAKEN BY SOME MASSIVE CAMERA
          FLASH.

Cons: *Very expensive
           *Not Available in the Philippines

November Layover Haul

Hello beautiful people!(Naks!) hihi. I just had my Washington Layover a few days ago, and since it's Christmas Season, I was hoping for some Holiday Sale --- so please have some heart and give us some discount you retail shops you!!! ahaha.

As you see, I'd be having my Vacation Leave ( Annual Leave) on December, and with this Holiday Season -- there are tons of things that I sure am looking forward to- aside from the obvious that it's Christmas -- thus a whole month stay with my Family, and catching up with Friends -- Your homegirl is gonna be partying with them Harajuku Girls! ahaha

My friends and I planned for a trip going to Osaka Japan by the end of November, and we'll be staying there for almost 5 days, and with that being said-- your girl needs to prepare some stuff that I'd be using on our Japan escapade. hehe. Good thing there's an outlet called Marshalls where last season's treasures where kept (wenk, wenk!)

'Bought myself a medium sized trolley since the suitcase and tote bag that our Airline provided are exclusively to be used for work only (ugh!)

Since it's gonna be winter by the time we arrive in Osaka-- bought myself some jacket and coat.

'Always wanted to own an Army Jacket :)

Flying Time from Washington to Jeddah lasts for around 12-13 hours, It's nice to kill boredom with a good book. 'Good thing this book's available at Walmart :)

My secret in teeth whitening (not-so-secret-anymore-haha!)

'Saw this lipstick from a YouTube vlogger named HeyClaire, Walmart almost has everything!! A-L-M-O-S-T  (no Burtsbees and Queen Helene products though :( )

Since Christmas Season is just around the corner -- have you started buying gifts already? It'd be much better if you buy gifts early, to avoid all the cram and hassle, or better yet, make a list about your gift ideas :)

Sephora has always been my Go-To makeup :)

Meet my Korean colleague, Kim -- she's one of the sweetest crew that I ever flew with

We went to WASABI restaurant in Tyson's Mall. Food was great!

California Maki has always been my favorite :)

Life is good. God is good :) 'Had so much fun on our layover, I craved for everything Asian dish for our 2- day stay in Washington. ahaha. Dude! I'm Asian, haha. Gotta keep the pride going homie! ( that sounds so Gettho) hehe. So uhh-- That's just pretty much it guys. thanks for taking the time to read my blog, 'will be posting some of our Adventures in Japan a few weeks from now. Adios! y Dios los Bendiga a todos xx

25TH BIRTHDAY

My friends knew how much I put a big emphasis on how grand and life changing it would be once you turn 25 ---  and just a few months ago, I got so excited and effervescent on how I'd get to celebrate the big Quarter Life Years, and boy, my ideas got soo crazy! Everything has been planned, and all it takes is a good seniority timing to get the desired days off on the day of my celebration. But then, something got out of hand, my cousin moved their wedding 2 months earlier, and oooppps! it was going to be on my birthday. haha. So obviously, I'd have to pass on my celebration.

'Wasn't able to go home on my birthday, and the days off that I was hoping to get wasn't that promising either :( I got to spend my birthday at work, but the good thing is that, I'd get to have my layover in NYC! :) Yes, God is good. Jed-Jfk flight is a long haul flight -- for sure. haha, sometimes they'd call it as a Red-Eye-Flight, and the flying duration is around 13hours and 50 minutes. So to those who think that being a flight attendant is an easy job--- tsk, girl! it ain't! (double snap) haha.

Something went wrong about the pick up from the hotel, going to the train station, that made us miss the schedule! So we have to wait for like more than an hour for the train going to Penn Station to arrive. So we took the opportunity for more photo ops while waiting.

After waiting for 2 hrs and 40 minutes ( 1hour and 40min  at the station +
1hour travel time to Manhattan) and Babamm!

I always wanted to go to Jeepney Restaurant when I saw this on YouTube.

Train Ride going to this restaurant is a hell of a twist, I was on a Cloud Nine zone, that I didn't know where we're going (as always) haha. I was awake for more than 24hrs oh yes #FlightAttendantSleepingProblems  NYC was freezing ---

We felt like ordering some Wine for the celebration, but then we were already kicking ourselves to just wake up and have a descent dinner for that night. The food was good, but when sleep comes knocking in, we, flight attendants are powerless, we just can't help but to allow Mr.Sandman to sprinkle his magical dusts and glitters. ZZzzzzzzzz ....

When i got back to the Hotel, and was able to check my phone, much to my surprise to see all the heart warming birthday greetings I received from my friends... A for EFFORT :)

We had another celebration when we went back to our base in Jeddah, here, sharing a joint celebration with my friend who had her birthday a week earlier than mine. #OctoberBabies

Life as we know it, comes very fast, I remember during my College Graduation, looking at my fellow batch mates thinking how things are gonna  be different after Graduation. Things will be different -- Life will be BETTER.

Well, things, has been really different for the past 5 years--- God has blessed me with a life that I never thought that would ever happen to me, 'been to places I thought I would only see in Magazines and History books. He gave me and my family a good life, 'Was able to buy the things I want, that I'd never get to afford 3 years ago, 'was able to meet amazing people for the past 5 years, and I know that this would be a bit biased, but for me --- my Life started 5 years ago .

5 years ago, there I was wearing my Graduation Cap thinking that life will be better, and it did, and NOW, as I enter Pre Quarter Life years ( attached with all the dillemas and #PreQuarterLifeCrisis of a 25 year old) Sitting at our Flat, writing this Article, getting all giddy on how life would be, Just like 5 years ago. I know that things will be different --- Life will be BETTER :)
